For one week every year, charities and mental health organisations across the United Kingdom bring attention to their cause during Eating Disorder Awareness Week.

During this week, events and other great activities help raise awareness for the struggles eating disorders bring with them and those affected by them. This year’s focus was on Binge Eating Disorder (BED), which can affect anyone from any age, gender, ethnicity or background. This serious mental illness causes sufferers to eat large quantities of food, with a feeling of no control over what they are doing.

This year’s EDAW ran from 01 to 07 March 2021. You can find out more here.

The dates for EDAW 2022 have not been announced yet, but we will keep you up to date if you follow us on social media.
